Symptoms of The Disorder


  • Fatty deposits of skin called "xanthomas" on eyes, elbows, knees, buttocks, tendons, and the cornea of the eye.
  • Cholesterol deposited in the eyelids, (called xanthelasmas)
  • Chest pain, (angina), or signs of coronary artery disease; may start at a young age.
  • Heart Attacks at a young age
